  • Worked on the April 1 launch of a business book Positively Geared developed for a Sydney-based Buyers Agent client, who wishes to use the book to launch him as an industry leader and spokesperson.
  • Planned and managed the execution of the book, ghostwriting the book with the client, writing a marketing campaign and successful publishing pitch for the client, helping him land a high-profile book deal with international publishers Wiley Publishing.
  • Connected the client with a senior PR rep and developed shareable custom content for media use when the book launches.

  • Worked out of the Sydney office with the partnerships team, to plan and deliver internal and external communications activity aligned with The Smith Family’s 80 major partners including corporates, higher education partners, and major donors.
  • Assisted the partner organizations with frequent sensitive and unique coverage around their fundraising activities for The Smith Family, across all states. The role involved careful time management between external and internal stakeholders and internal departments.
  • Worked very closely to the style guide and branding templates.
  • Produced content varying from intranet news, blog posts, social media posts, media statements and press releases, through to thought leadership speeches and background documents, video scripts and event scripts for CEO Lisa O’Brien.
  • Orchestrated press opportunities with media, students, and stakeholders like Hilton and Audi.
  • Briefed speakers and agencies and managed shoots and video edits.
  • Wrote new program materials for launches.
  • Ideated a family plan for the Let’s Count home numeracy program and also identified a content strategy for engaging new partners via LinkedIn.
  •  Liaised with The Smith Family sponsored students, helping them write speeches and stories about their growth from childhood in low socioeconomic and refugee families to becoming grateful and promising university students.

  • Regularly wrote regional Australian travel stories for inflight magazine Outthere (now rebranded as True Blue), that goes into regional airlines Rex, Airnorth, Cobham, and Alliance.
  • Pivoted the focus of the magazine toward disruptors and innovators across mining, agriculture, and tourism.
  • Worked closely with the sales team and increased revenue by $20,000 per issue.

  • Wrote the new individual State Cruise Tourism Industry Fact Sheets for Tourism Australia, working with stakeholders in each state as well as TA.
  • Created destination guides to each port around the continent of North America for the South East Asia-facing cruise site, aseancruising.com.

  • Set up the final annual Scoop Traveller guide to Western Australia for 2016, which is still live online at Scoop.com.
  • Conducted market research across WA's Tourism industry.
  • Worked closely with state and regional branches of the Tourism Board as well as PRs, to gather accurate travel tips and advice from local experts.
  • Managed a team of contributing journalists and photographers and design team plus junior writers to create over 350 pages of content within a tiny budget.
  • Represented the magazine at famils and TWA events.
  • Worked closely with Scoop’s internal sales team, and the magazine generated $400,000 in sales revenue. Her content was syndicated to create the Margaret River Guide of which she was also editor.

Destination New South Wales is the lead government agency for the New South Wales (NSW) tourism and major events sectors.

  • Wrote and edited content for the main visitnsw.com site.
  • Oversaw content development for the first China-hosted, China-facing tourism website about Sydney and surrounds. The 200-page site was translated into Simplified and Traditional Mandarin. This project involved in-depth market research, site content planning, and user experience strategizing, SEO development, image sourcing, culturally sensitive content creation, content loading.
  • Managed translations and multiple internal stakeholder approval processes as well as content processes with the external Chinese digital agency.
