Derbyshire Constabulary is the territorial police force responsible for policing the county of Derbyshire, England. 

• Edited the website for the new intranet system of Derbyshire Constabulary.
• Oversaw a diverse team of staff and freelance contributors and coordinated with internal marketing departments.

Ripley Town Council Local Neighborhood Plan is a regeneration initiative for Ripley, Derbyshire.

• Worked on the Ripley Neighborhood Plan which was accepted by the electorate in a referendum in 2015.
• Liaised with a wide range of stakeholders to produce content for Facebook and Twitter streams and radio promotions for the Neighborhood Plan.
• Facilitated traders' meetings and attended regional meetings on behalf of Ripley.
• Supported consultation events, wrote a newspaper column, devised press releases, and attended photoshoots.
• Sub-edited the 2014 version of the plan.

Havas London (formerly known as Euro RSCG London) is a London-based integrated advertising agency.

• Worked as a member of the creative team in the Nottingham unit.
• Was a divisional copywriter servicing five regional agencies in Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, and Dublin.
• Provided internal and external copywriting training.
• Produced content copy for blog posts, news articles, as well as PR notices.
• Shared creative concepts and copy for press advertisements and campaigns, television and radio scripts, direct mailing material and annual reports.
• Communicated with clients directly who were mainly from the public sector.

• Took creative writing courses with Andrew Motion and Paul Magrs.
• Took a publishing course at the Norwich School of Art and Design which included book design, typesetting and copy-editing.
• Was a member of editorial team for MA Anthology, Magpie.
• Was responsible for copyediting, publicity, writing press releases and advance information.
• Organized and advertised promotional readings and launch at UEA. 

• Creative writing courses in poetry and prose. Dissertation - extended prose project – published in 1998.
