After investigating React in early 2015, Philip presented his findings to the newly acquired group. This led to React being adopted by Digital Insight. He then worked on responsive online banking UI projects using React, React Native, Webpack, Babel, Flow (type checker), Redux, GraphQL, Relay, Eslint, AVA (testing), Node, npm, and Express. 
  • Established and led the Web Guild at NCR Edinburgh where those who work with web tech meet every two weeks to discuss and present the latest developments. Since Philip joined the headcount at NCR Edinburgh increased from about 20 to over 100 and now web tech plays an important part in most engineers' roles. He presented internal talks frequently both to the guild and the whole office.
