Job Description

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for measuring and optimizing web-based applications to improve ease of use (usability) and create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users’ problems. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand product specifications and user psychology.
  • Create the client’s product vision through research, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.
  • Translate design concepts into wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes to intuitive user experiences.
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
  • Design user stories, user journeys, wireframes, and mockups that are optimized for a variety of devices and interfaces.
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  • Identify the applicable interaction model and evaluate its results.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to existing and updated features.
  • Ensure that design approach is user-centered.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven UX design experience.
  • Strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Expertise in standard UX software and basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Ability to understand the client’s detailed requirements.
  • Design complete user experiences that is in line with client needs and vision.
  • Proven experience in using design best practices to design UX solutions.
  • Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
  • Ability to convey ideas, design processes, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the importance of user-centered design.
  • Collaborative skills, to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Ability to resolve user pain points through great design.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Up to date with the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
  • Degree in Computer Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
