Web Project Manager Job Description

As a Web Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing design and development resources to ensure the success of website and application development projects. Your role will be to manage the project end-to-end, working with business stakeholders and technical resources to ensure that all project requirements are met on schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the project.
  • Apply Agile frameworks and organize project into sprints.
  • Hand-hold and sync with stakeholders throughout the design, implementation, and test phase.
  • Work with a team of designers, developers, SEO strategists and content writers to execute on the project plan.
  • Manage testing plan, as well as perform test validation after each sprint.
  • Review output across all levels and provide feedback to all teammates.
  • Measure and report on progress.

Requirements

  • Experience in Agile as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
  • 2 -5 years in project management, specifically related to web development projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how a website works and is built by native HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience with the UX research process and how it leads to UI development.
  • Ability to convey design and technical information to stakeholders in clear and simple terms.
  • Highly meticulous and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly consultative, empathic, and curious.
