The Smart Local is an independent media publisher that focuses on travel and lifestyle stories for Singaporeans. 

  • Performed duties including ideation, execution, and overseeing both organic and paid advertorial content for TSL’s YouTube channel. Also involved in various managerial duties such as a quality gatekeeper for all video deliverables, market motioning, managing the entire video team (20 employees), and planning the team’s content calendar. 
  • Heavily involved in executing video projects which includes idea pitching to clients, producing, directing, filming and post production. Worked closely with clients before and during shoots to ensure expectations are met and production runs smoothly.
  • Successfully created several video series for the channel that became products that are sold to clients as a deliverable and generated revenue for the company.
  • Contributed in setting the direction, conceptualizing ideas and quality gatekeeper for TSL’s subsidiaries channels such as Eatbook and Zula during starting phases.
  • Took on additional side roles such as being a frequent on-screen talent for TSL, Eatbook, and Zula's YouTube channel. Also involved executing photography content for collaborations between TSL KOL’s and brands as well as travel content.
