Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth

The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth is a ministry of the Government of Singapore tasked, from the government's point of view, to "inspire Singaporeans through the arts and sports, strengthen community bonds, and promote volunteerism and philanthropy" in Singapore.

  • Managed the ministry’s marketing collaterals and national-level campaigns. 
  • Led a team of three to manage national-level campaigns, including installations, television and radio programs, collaterals, and social media, costing more than SGD$1 million in the lead-up to SG50.
  • Successfully developed, launched, and publicized five walking trails as part of heritage education for secondary school students. Each trail launch had more than 300 participants. The trails received extensive media coverage across all major media outlets.
  • Acted as the head of communications for the Staff Welfare Committee, creating internal communication strategies to publicize staff welfare events and encourage participation among internal stakeholders.
  • Selected to be part of a ten-member Secretariat team tasked to review the existing Youth Engagement Framework. Recommendations such as the formation of Youth Corps and an autonomous National Youth Council were implemented.
  • Won the Ministry of Communication and Information’s Best Innovation Award (Bronze Prize) for a set of heritage trails in 2012.
