  • Rewrote the application and business plan (twice) with the assistance of Appleby (Lawyers) which was submitted to the Financial Supervision Commission (Isle of Man) (FSC) the result of which was that the company obtained a Category 2 licence to enable it to become the island’s first online internet brokerage house.
  • Drafted various policies and procedures for the online brokerage firm in line with the current rule book and guidance notes, trade flow diagrams, set up contractual agreements with various counterparties.
  • Led the meetings with the FSC to explain the nature and rationale of the investments the company intended to offer.
  • Designed the accounting and financial processes with the company.
