George Teague holds more than 20 years of experience in product development and design. He has worked on projects across Europe, China, Japan, Southeast Asia, North America, and the Middle East with budgets exceeding USD 1 million from various clients including Fujifilm, UBS, Singtel, Facebook, Liverpool Football Club, Manchester City Football Club, Bridgestone, Adidas, Met Life, Aviva, Garmin, Pfizer, McCann Health, Havas, Merck, and many more. George has managed international creative teams of up to 15 people and previously ran his own boutique creative business and helped to launch five new brands and delivered over 20 successful projects for his clients.

  • Responsible for art and copy, overseeing a team of eight creatives on APAC B2B projects.
  • Rebranded launch campaign for Advance.AI.
  • Created various videos including the teaser opening of the sustainable finance conference of UBS.
  • Led a marketing unit for a B2B campaign for Facebook.
  • Pitched for APAC to digitally print new products for launch campaign and event of Fujifilm.
  • Conceptualized and designed a creative theme for a virtual event Zellis (UK).
  • Other work: Google cloud marketing, Singtel cloud/cybersecurity site and advertising, Red Hat cloud technology/enterprise IT event, and SAP business software campaign.

For Octagon

  • Responsible for art and copy on partnership marketing projects.
  • Standard Chartered/Liverpool FC – Worked on various projects for the bank and Liverpool Men’s and Women’s football teams, including a campaign to raise the profile of the Women’s team that also will reflect the bank’s values in the promotion of equality.
  • Midea/Manchester City FC – Provided campaign concept direction for season 20/21, including film and social marketing content, stadium advertising, and experiential activations.
  • Bridgestone/Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 – Pitched brand activation pitch.
  • Adidas Superstar – Produced brand activation concepts for the Singapore iLights Festival.

  • Designed numerous websites and wellness apps, and created new brands and marketing campaigns for leading financial and insurance companies in Europe, the USA, and Asia: Bank of China, Tokio Marine, Met Life, Aviva, Hong Leong, and Muang Thai.
  • Recruited and managed creative teams in Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, the Netherlands, and the USA.
  • Sourced and built relationships with key suppliers across SE Asia and then partnered with them on different types of projects. The suppliers included film production companies, animation and motion graphics studios, advertising and media agencies, app developers, and other technical experts.

Projects worked on:

  • ReMark Group (International) – Developed and designed logos, brand book, website, app & various brand films to promote ReMark’s services.
  • Sequis (Indonesia) – Worked closely with the client on a large-scale project to create and launch a new insurance brand and products in Indonesia, which included a website with an integrated conversational UI platform, full-scale social advertising campaign, videos, photography & launch event collaterals.
  • Etiqa Maybank and Hong Leong (Malaysia) – Designed the UX and UI of wellbeing apps and marketing campaigns to encourage customers to live healthier lives, with video exercise content, nutrition guides, and points reward schemes for participation.
  • EZTakaful (Malaysia) – Helped develop EZT to become a successful insurance brand in Malaysia, which involved designing a website and app and with supporting campaigns across TV and social advertising (now with over 87k Facebook followers). After just 5 years, EZT sold over 55,000 policies a year which equates to around RM13.75 million in revenue.
  • Garmin Connect/SCOR (International) – Designed the UI of a biological age model app and created three supporting videos.
  • Muang Thai (Thailand) and Nan Shan (Taiwan) – Designed the UX and UI design of a wellbeing app to enable customers to live healthier lives.
  • Tokio Marine (Japan) – Launched a digital campaign for View Card cancer insurance plan.
  • Click For Cover (Malaysia) – Established brand identity, designed UX and UI, and created videos for four different websites for their medical and accident insurance products.
  • Santa Lucia (Spain) – Designed the UX and UI for a new insurance website.

  • H4B Havas, Global - Pitched a creative work that helped win the global advertising and design business for Teva (Seasonique). Other work: Created concept and identity for Teva women’s health programme, did photo shoot and created brand kits for Saizen (Merck), and developed brand guidelines and advertising for Alcon (Novartis).
  • Havas, Indonesia - Integrated campaign for Nutrilon milk powder.
  • McCann Health, UK - Pitched a consumer TV commercial for Pharmaton.
  • TBWA Paling Walters, UK - Created digital designs for Enbrel (Pfizer) and Restylane Skincare.
  • Interactive Investor, UK - Redesign the UX and UI of Moneywise website.

Refreshed is a boutique creative agency that specialized in working in the healthcare and pharma space. I joined the agency at start-up (2nd hire) and built the creative department for a team of 6. I helped to pitch and win international project work from some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, such as Pfizer and Merck Serono. Some of the key projects include:

  • Pfizer (Champix, Europe) – Pitched 'Quit With Help' smoking cessation program (pitch win). It's a large-scale £1 million-plus project as all assets were created for 13 European markets – and in every language; this included 13 times patient support websites with various videos, digital advertising, social media, email communications, and literature.
  • Pfizer (Aricept, Europe) – Pitched Healthcare professional communications (pitch win). This was another huge project, as again all assets had to be created for 11 European markets – and in every language; this included 11 x websites, videos, digital advertising, event materials, and literature.
  • Mentholatum (UK) – Designed the websites, online and social advertising across their suite of brands; Deep Heat, Deep Freeze, Muscle Rescue, Deep Relief, and Regenovex.
  • Grünenthal (Versatis, Europe) – Pitched Versartis digital program (pitch win). Including the design of a patient support app.
  • Aerocrine (Niox, Global) – Designed the global brand guidelines for Niox.
  • Merck Serono (Saizen, Global) – Designed the child's support program app incorporating a game.
  • Sazmar (Conceive Plus, Europe) – Designed the website, conducted online and social advertising, and rolled it out across Europe (pitch win).
