David Martinez specializes in the production of web, mobile, and advertising campaign projects.   • Supervised the site redesign of Internet.org, a Facebook-led initiative aiming to bring Internet access and the benefits of connectivity to the portion of the world that doesn't have them. David led the project while at The Factory, Facebook’s creative think tank.
  • Developed the digital touchpoints for “Friends,” a Facebook ad campaign about creating and sustaining friendships. The project included an in-app photo creation tool as well as digital OOH.
  • Produced various video and animation projects.
  • Participated in brand-level projects, including defining a Facebook illustration style.

  • Worked on the creative pitches for Foot Locker, Lowes, FedEx, and GE.
  • Produced the silver Cannes Lions award-winning “HORSE with Harden” campaign of Foot Locker. To give the brand’s fans an interactive experience, David's team had them challenge NBA star James Harden to a game of HORSE by submitting videos on Twitter and Instagram. The event gathered public and media attention. #HorseWithHarden had a potential reach of nearly 61 million people. In addition, during the campaign week, Foot Locker’s YouTube subscriber rate increased 300%, and their home page also nearly doubled its average monthly traffic.
  • Led the production of the silver Cannes Lions award-winning “Tap Thru How-To” campaign of Lowe. The campaign used time-lapse video and native tech to deliver a new kind of home improvement how-to video.
  • Co-authored an agency report entitled “Beacon Technology: What Brands Need to Know.”
